You know what I never really thought about before.

Maybe we're dead. Maybe this is just some form of twisted limbo.

I think my head is going to explode.

Don't even go there, although I have thought the same thing. How could babies be born in death? I don't think death goes hand-in-hand with creation of life.

I don't know. I never said I thought it through. This just feels like limbo.

It is what you make it. Lately I have been following the advice of not waiting to get off this ship to return to the living. It is part of my philosophical debate.

I don't think the real world is any easier than here.

I'm not saying that it is easier. A lot of people come and they decide to wait to get on with their lives until they can go home again. They try to figure out why they are here and then wait until they get back to resume their lives. I want to get on with life here and now.

Life here is just as complicated as back home, even if it is different.

I don't think we're dead in limbo.

I dunno.

I'm reasonably certain that we're not. I mean, we all remember people after they've been here, right? I'm more a fan of the alternate dimensions theory.

Why wouldn't we remember it?

I don't know.

I just don't think it's death. Parallel universes is something I can sink my teeth into, but not really the dead limbo thing. Firstly you have to believe in something after death.

Well I do. But I don't know. I'm not a thinker. I should probably keep my mouth shut unless I have solid proof of stuff.

There's no reason to keep your mouth shut. And proof is very hard to find, even for the most obvious of things. It's perfectly valid for you to think we're all dead. I just don't happen to think that, Rox.

Brilliant. If you're right, then I died at twenty-three. What a life I had.

Well, obviously not. Maybe the age you show up in limbo is random.

Dead would be a better explanation.

Than what?

Than randomly being ripped out of time and dropped here to only be exported back and not have any recollection of any of this.

And who's idea was it to meet your future children anyway. There's a reason people aren't supposed to know the future.

And what's that reason?

So they don't have to put up with their oversexed children. Because it's not healthy.

So how do you explain seers?

I feel for them. And they don't know everything, it is not at their disposal like it is here.

i wouldn't know, I am not a seer, nor do I wish to ever be one.
